It isn´t an easy task to find last minute accommodation for Sónar festival Barcelona. Taking this into account we encourage you to make your reservation in advance in the 4 star superior Gran Hotel Havana in the centre of Barcelona with good transport connections. From here you can comfortably get to the enclosures where the concerts will take place by metro or bus or enjoy a few hours of tourism in the city.

18, 19 and 20 of July (from Thursday to Saturday).

Line-up

Sónar 2019 explores the global electronic scene, inviting 40 new artists. Some of the headline acts highlighted by the organizers are: Underworld, Arca, Four Tet, Vince Staples, Kaytranada, Holly Herndon, Fennesz y DJ Koze.

How to get to Sónar and timetable

Sónar Festival is characterised for taking place in two different areas: Day Sónar in Fira Montjuic in plaza España and Night Sónar in the Fira Gran Vía del Hospitalet.

• How to get to Day Sónar

(From 13:00 to 00:00 on Thursday, and from 13:00 to 23:00 on Friday and Saturday. In the same enclosure they will host Sónar +D, Wednesday from 10:00 to 21:00, Thursday from de 10:00 to 23:00h, Friday from 10:00 to 22:00 Saturday from 13:00 to 22:00)

The entrance to the enclosure Fira Montjuic is very close to the metro stop plaza España with the lines 1 and 3, red and green respectively. Alternatively, you can get there by the majority of buses which go down Gran Via such as the H12.

From our Gran Hotel Havana, you will take little more than 15 minutes by bus or metro.

• How to get to Night Sónar

(Thursday and Friday from 20.30)

When the sun goes down, Sónar´s concerts move away from the city of Barcelona to the enclosure Fira del Hospitalet.

To get there you have the following options: or you can take the “ferrocarriles” train in plaza España until the stop “Europa Fira”, or any of the following buses: H12, L70, L72, L94 o L95.

And how to get back from Night Sónar

On Friday, the metro in Barcelona closes at 2am, on Saturday it runs uninterrupted all night.

Outside this timetable, the best way to get around are the Nit bus N15, N16 or N17, or, of course, by taxi.

To give you an idea, the Gran Hotel Havana can be found just 10 minutes walking from plaza Cataluña, where all the night buses stop.

To move between Sónar Day and Night there is a special “Sónarbus”, L1 which costs 2.5 euros.

The “Sónarbus” L2 run uninterruptedly between Drassanes and the area of Sónar Night, On Friday and on Saturday from 20.30 until 8am.

Off Sónar
