These are some of the most prominent congresses and festivals to take place in Barcelona in 2023.

February 19th 2023: The Barcelona Half Marathon

If you like running, this is an excellent opportunity to run a marathon whilst sightseeing through the streets of Barcelona.

March 27th to May 2nd 2023: The Mobile World Congress

Undoubtedly one of the major events every year in Barcelona. The world’s largest exhibition of mobile telephones and sector innovations with over 100,000 attendees.

March 19th 2023: The Marathon

26 miles running through one of the main tourist areas of Barcelona. It is major celebration for the city.

June 1rd to 10th 2023: Primavera Sound

Primavera Sound is an indie music festival that has been held at Barcelona’s Parc del Fórum since 2001. There are free concerts throughout the city in addition to the scheduled concerts for paying event-goers.

June 15th to 17th 2023: Sónar

Created in 1994, Sonar is the Festival of Advanced Music and Congress of Creativity and Technology that takes place over 3 days in July in Barcelona. There are activities in some of the Fira halls at Plaza España during the day, with others in Hospitalet at night.
